We take privacy seriously, especially because children participate in our league and may visit this website.

We only collect information that you provide to us directly through the forms on this website. This includes:

• Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form, waitlist form, coaching volunteer form, or referee registration form
• Your child's name and age when you submit a waitlist or registration form

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics software that collects personal data. We do not collect any information automatically beyond what your browser sends to any web server (such as your IP address and browser type), and we do not store or use that information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide only to respond to your inquiry or to follow up on your registration, waitlist, coaching, or referee interest. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than the one you submitted it for. We will not send you unsolicited emails beyond what you have asked for.

4. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for use by parents, guardians, coaches, and referees. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian submits information about their child (such as a child's name and age on a waitlist form), that information is used only for the purpose of league registration and is not shared with any third party.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us at play@claringtonflagfootball.ca and we will delete it promptly.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or trade your personal information. However, as an official member of Football Ontario, we are required to share player registration information with them.

Football Ontario: Every athlete who plays in Clarington Flag Football must be registered with Football Ontario, the provincial governing body for amateur football. We handle this registration process on your behalf. To do so, we share the necessary player and parent information you provide during registration with Football Ontario. This information is governed by Football Ontario's own privacy policy.

TeamLinkt: When you register for the league through our TeamLinkt registration link, you are submitting information to TeamLinkt directly. Their privacy policy governs how that information is handled. We encourage you to review it at teamlinkt.com/privacy.

We will not share your information with any other third party unless required to do so by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as it is needed for the purpose you submitted it. Contact form submissions are kept for one season. Waitlist and registration information is kept until the relevant season is complete. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing play@claringtonflagfootball.ca.

7. Your Rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Ontario privacy regulations, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to request that we delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at play@claringtonflagfootball.ca.

8. Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)

When you submit a form on this website and check the consent box, you are providing express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) to receive electronic communications from Clarington Flag Football. These communications may include registration confirmations, season updates, schedule changes, cancellation notices, and league news.
